Hi there! I am so glad you are here!
I have been working as a social worker for 14 years, helping people navigate life’s ups and downs with care, understanding, and little bit of humor. My approach to therapy is informal, conversational, and relationship based with the goal being creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
At Blooming Mental Health, I blend therapeutic approaches to what will be the best for you. Some of the main areas of treatment include anxiety, mood, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, grief/loss, attention and concentration, life stressors, and trauma using the strength of the therapeutic relationship, compassion, advocacy, and evidence-based strategies (CBT, MI, DBT, ACT, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Solution Focused) to find what works best for you. I am Neuroaffirming and am a LGBTQIA+ ally. Asking for help can be scary/hard/all the emotions, and I believe in tailoring your therapy sessions to fit your unique journey.
Outside of work, you will find me spending time with my 2 girls, husband, friends and family. I also have 2 dogs Eddie and Ozzie.
I am a plant enthusiast and enjoy listening to audiobooks, crocheting, going for walks, and driving my kids to all their activities.
